A walk in the woods before a 4 hour car ride is perfect! That’s what we did before leaving the lake Monday afternoon of Memorial Weekend. Our goal this summer is to get our kids hiking. While they are both very active, a walk/hike is perceived as “booorrring”, so we took a short walk up to see some water falls and remind them it’s not so boring!
Making s’mores and making memories 🙂
This past Sunday we had so much fun at Muscoot Farm! It was the perfect day…a little snow and no wind. Muscoot is just 5 minutes down the road from us, it is an amazing farm open to the public. Don’t forget to make a donation at the cute cow as you enter!
We have been coming to Muscoot ever since our kids were really little. I have always thought it was a great place for them to run around and have a little freedom.
Since no one has school AGAIN today, wait for the roads to clear up and then take the kids to explore Muscoot Farm in the snowy winter! Bring some $$ so the kids can make a donation 🙂
