The room is set, the bed is made, the candles are lit. The door bell rings, I’m so excited. She told me she was bringing an entourage and extra wine. I open the door and there is Danielle, the beautiful bride to be, followed by her sister, her friend and her mom! Immediately the wine was opened..this was going to be fun!
I have known Danielle for a while, she was my daughter’s and son’s daycare teacher. She knew I was a photographer and approached me about doing her wedding photos. At that point I had never done a wedding. I said that to her. I explained wedding photography is a whole different thing than portraits of newborns and families. Her response was “I don’t care. I know you, I’m comfortable with you, I love your work and I just want to relax and enjoy my wedding.” I couldn’t argue with that! 🙂
I mentioned to her the idea of doing a boudoir session, she said yes!
Boudoir sessions are so much fun. It’s taking a step out of ordinary life, and step out of your comfort zone possibly. There is so much laughter and silliness…add wine and an “entourage” and the session becomes an amazing memory. If you are interested in a boudoir session, I’d love to talk to you more about it.
