This little girl was SO adorable. I love the dress her mom picked out for her too. Cake smashes have to be one of my favorite things to photograph lately. Capturing these little ones as they move into the toddler stage of their life, is awesome, they all have such different personalities. Some kids dive right into the cake, some want nothing to do with it and others look to their parents for reassurance that they are allowed to just stick their fingers in the cake…it’s too cute watch. JP 1st Birthday Cake Smash | Hackensack, NJ | Children’s Photographer
I love doing first birthday cake smash sessions, especially when it’s for a cutie pie that I photographed as a newborn and his mommy’s maternity session. It is amazing how fast a year goes by! I’ve known his beautiful mom for over 10 years and love that she is one of my closest friends. You can see his newborn photos here and him still in his mommy’s belly here.

Anyone living in Northern Westchester with kids knows Muscoot Farm, and if you don’t you should really check it out. It is free (although donations are welcome as you enter) and open to the public. It’s an awesome farm with lots of animals, trail and beautiful scenery. Such an awesome location for photos, too!
This little guy just celebrated his first birthday. I had a great morning shooting him and his mom, they were so cute together.

Luke’s 1st Birthday Party | Woodbridge, CT
This past weekend we went to my cousin’s sons first birthday party, it’s so nice having family close by, well if you consider and hour and a half close by! lol My husband is from Rochester, my sister in law and her family live in Atlanta, my parents and my sister both live in upstate NY so we have no immediate family close by so a little road trip to spend time with family is no big deal and well worth it.
